What Should Your Daily Beauty Regimen Consist Of? Here are Some Ideas.

Getting the perfect skincare routine looks like an impossible mission for most people, due to the very many skin care advice and products out there.

People exercise every morning, eat good food – not junks, drink enough water, yet don’t feel like they are there yet with their beauty. Quite understandable!

Humans are actually insatiable, but at some stage you’ll know that you’ve hit the Jackpot when you look in the mirror and see your reflection looking spotless. It all boils down to what you do everyday to keep your skin beautiful.

Let’s not beat around the bush, here are 12 daily beauty regimen tips.

  1. Exercise

Whenever you exercise, you enable an easy flow of blood in your body and cleanse your skin from the inside out, by sweating.

It’s an essential daily move to achieve the best beauty results. Don’t do anything too hard though, it’s unnecessary. A simple walk or yoga is just fine.

  1. Wash your face

That splash of clean cold water on your face when you get out of bed in the morning or after your daily exercise is just priceless!

You’ll be washing off the dirt from your face – the one you acquired from your dirty pillow cover, thanks to the oil in your hair.

After the wash, you pat dry. By now your pores must be open and taking in fresh breeze – something it hardly does since you wear makeup throughout the day.

Washing your face is a great contributor to having a healthy skin. It promotes blood circulation and gives your face more colour and vitality.

  1. Cleansing

After the wash, use a mild facial cleanser. Always avoid anything too harsh to avoid irritating your skin.

Of course after the wash your pores must be open and ready to receive. The use of cleanser at that moment heightens the chances of your face absorbing the nutrients in the cleanser, increasing the chances of the cleanser’s effectiveness.

  1. Sit in a cool place

Be sure to sit in a cool place after using the cleanser. Your skin reacts when you’re under pressure or in a hot arena. You start to sweat. A cool place helps your skin to effectively absorb the cleanser instead of sweating it all out.

  1. Take a bath

I don’t know why bathing every morning would be such a huge task to anyone, but if you’re really concerned about your beauty, you’ll take your bathing routine serious.

Bathing washes away dirt from your skin and refreshes your body entirely. When you bath, you wash off all the dirt clogging your pores, giving way to the absorption of the cream you use for more effectiveness and better results.

  1. Apply sunscreen

Applying sunscreen before makeup is a good idea and even if the weather is cloudy, you’ll be rest assured that your skin is in a safe condition and away from the dangers of ultraviolet sun rays.

However, it’s advisable you apply it after putting on makeup. If done otherwise (sunscreen first) the makeup will remove some of the sunscreen you applied prior, leaving some parts of the skin exposed to the sun rays.

So for better results, apply a thin layer of sunscreen immediately after applying your makeup.

  1. Drink enough water

Drinking 6-8 litres of water daily is the real deal. Even if drinking water doesn’t make your skin fabulous – which it does anyway, dehydration isn’t something you’ll want to put yourself through. It’s horrible, messes with your skin and makes it look dried out and wrinkled.

Upon waking up in the morning, you should take a big glass of cold water to clear the path for the incoming food, make metabolism easy and flush out toxins from the body.

  1. Eat healthy

These junks and fast food won’t save your life. Yes, they provide momentary satisfaction but in the long run, end up causing more harm than good.

Did you know that what you eat can cause acne and pimples, hormonal imbalance or even inflame your skin?

Well, that says a lot about the food we eat. In fact, what we eat is more important as the creams we apply on our skin.

For this reason alone, you need to cut down your sugary intake and fast foods. Fresh foods such as tomato, oatmeal, sardines, walnuts, etc promote a healthy and smooth skin. Choose them over junks.

  1. Stay away from the sun

Of course we love the sun and it would not stop shinning just because we need to get our skin in shape.

However, we can control how much time we spend in it to avoid sunburns and dark spots.

Although the skin uses sunlight to manufacture vitamin D, it’s the ultraviolet rays we’re afraid of. Too much exposure to it and we start having discolouration on our skin.

I stated earlier in this article that you should use sunscreen, but of course not everyone will remember to do that. An alternative is to stay away from the sun as much as possible if you want that skin to glow.

  1. Relax

Most people say stuff like “I’ll rest when I’m rich”, “Money must be made”, yeah well okay, money must be made but what’s the point if you have ill health and can’t enjoy the money?

Make it a daily necessity to relax. It’s important for your skin. Stress causes skin breakouts such as pimples and acne.

Not enough time? Then do it at work. Roll around in that chair for a while and crack jokes with your colleagues. Don’t be that person who is always angry and scowling at everyone. Your skin needs that happiness, make it shine.

  1. Take off makeup at night

Girlfriends, there’s nothing more damaging to the skin than sleeping in make-up. Don’t do it, it’s horrible.

Make-up clogs your pores while you sleep, resulting to the development of acne and pimples.

Take off your make-up before bed. To clean it completely, rub olive oil on your face – to open up your pores – then wipe the make-up off. Don’t worry, it will come off easily.

You can use a facial cleanser and cotton wool or just baby wipes. Whichever works for you.

Then wash your face with a mild soap to remove any make-up residue.

  1. Moisturize

I’ve seen ladies take pride in the fact that they don’t use any creams on their face and still glow. Do your thing girl; but you’re one of the lucky few.

Jokes aside though, glow or not, moisturizing your skin should be a daily practice to boost hydration in your skin and prevent flaking.

Getting a healthy skin is not a day’s job. You have to be dedicated to the course and set a daily goal to be achieved at the end of the day. You will not only achieve that beauty, you’ll also be healthy all round.

  1. If this Horse oil is good should I still buy the African black soap bcoz it seems both works same thing. I’m confused here please I need clarity!

    1. Hi, Ilami.
We stopped selling the horse oil soap because the makers stopped production. And we don’t trust other brands of Horse oil soap being sold in the market.
This is why we decided to work on the BeauCrest African black soap, which has come out better than the Horse Oil soap.

  2. Hi ma’am, I would love for you to recommend the special beauty product. Is it the African Black soap. One more thing, I don’t have any face cream cause I react to almost every product. Which do you recommend that will serve as sunscreen.

    1. You can use the BeauCrest African Black soap. You can also get our natural moisturizer. It contains natural oils that help prevent sun damage.
