11 Ways to Get Rid of Those Annoying Dark Inner Thighs

Procedure

Get a slice of potato. Rub it on the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes. When you are done, rinse off with warm water.

Cucumber is a natural moisturizer. It is also a natural skin whitening agent. Cucumber also works on your skin cells. It helps to renew dying skin cells and remove skin cells that are already dead.

To get a faster result, you could also add a few drops of lemon juice to the cucumber; maybe two drops or three. Rub it on your skin for 15 minutes and then wash off with warm water.

Lemon is enriched with Vitamin C. And Vitamin C helps to recreate new skin cells, as well as remove dead ones.

You should first dilute the lemon juice with water because of its high acidic content. If you don’t do so, you might have skin burns and skin irritations.

Procedure

Dip a cotton ball into the diluted juice and rub on your thighs for five minutes. Then rinse off with warm water. This should be done two times or three times every week.

You should remember that lemon is acidic, so you should not use it on your skin if you have a sore or cut on your skin. If you just shaved, lemon on your skin is a huge NO too.

You might want to make use of a moisturizer when you are done, because lemon tends to leave the skin dry.

  1. Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera is your safe bet for a natural antioxidant. It nourishes and repairs your skin.

It helps to calm skin irritations. It contains alpine, which is a skin whitening agent. If you also have an oily skin, you might want to try out aloe vera.

Procedure

Extract the gel from aloe vera leaf. Massage the gel gently on your skin. Let it be for 20 minutes. Then wash off with warm water. You should do this every day.

You can also mix almond oil and aleo vera. Drop few drops of almond oil into two tablespoons of aloe vera gel. Rub on the affected area. Then wash off with warm water after 20 minutes.

Get three tablespoons of coconut oil and “one tablespoon of lemon. Mix well and apply on your thighs.  Gently massage and wait for 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

You can also drink coconut water. And you can also mix lemon juice and coconut water. Apply on black thighs. Follow the procedure for coconut oil.

Yoghurt contains lactic acid, and this makes it a (very gentle) bleaching agent that can lighten the colour of your inner thighs.

More so, its zinc content combats sunburn too!

Procedure

Rub plain yoghurt gently on your inner thighs. Let it be for about 15 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water. Do this once every day.

You can also mix the yoghurt with juice of lemon.

Friction occurs when both thighs rub against each other when you walk. It makes you sweat, causes itching and gradually leads to dark inner thighs.

So you can begin with letting go of those tight jeans and get some loose pants. Wear more of cotton fabric instead of nylon. Nylon might irritate your skin.

  1. Thanks for the information……. As for the potato juice remedy, can I use sweet potato or Irish?
    Secondly, can I apply any of these remedies to other parts of my body, like my kneecap, elbow and for sunburn underneath my eyes?
